Our standard
This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. It is built and tested against that standard, and we will fix any problem you report.
What we have done
- Clear headings, page structure and landmarks, so screen reader users can navigate quickly
- A “skip to main content” link on every page
- A visible focus indicator for keyboard users
- Text and interface colours that meet WCAG contrast requirements
- Buttons and links large enough to tap easily on touch screens
- Forms with visible labels, hints and clear error messages
- Respect for your device’s reduced-motion setting
- Plain-English content with short sentences and clear headings
- No content that relies on colour, sound or video alone
- Tables that can be scrolled with the keyboard on small screens
Pages are checked with automated accessibility testing tools. Manual testing with a keyboard and screen readers will be completed before the website is published.
